About This Show

In the dramatic comedy Nathan the Wise, a sultan must keep Muslims, Jews, and Christians at peace in a Jerusalem under attack during the Crusades. Nathan, a Jewish merchant and the sultan’s richest subject, returns to Jerusalem to find his house burned down and his only daughter, Rebecca, rescued from the fire by a Christian Templar Knight. As Nathan attempts to thank Rebecca’s savior, he becomes embroiled in the story of the Templar’s relationship with the Muslim sultan who spared the knight’s life.

There are no performances on Tuesdays, October 22, November 12, and November 19; Wednesdays, October 23 and 30; Thursdays, October 24 and November 7 at 8:00pm; Friday, October 25; Saturdays, October 26 and November 9 at 8:00pm; and Sunday, November 10.
There are additional performances on Thursday, November 7 at 2:00pm; and Saturdays, October 26 and November 9 at 2:00pm.
