La Celestina

Based on the novel written by Fernando de Rojas, La Celestina marks the end of medieval literature and the beginning of the literary Renaissance in Spain. The play follows the doomed affair of a wealthy young man and his chosen maiden, artfully wielding the witchcraft of the matchmaker, Celestina with the passionate romance of the two lovers.

Performances of this modern production will be showcased in Spanish, but utilizing English supertitles.
