About the Show

A ragtag group of misfits banded together by their cult-like worship of Clay Aiken allow their delusions of grandeur and fame to overwhelm their common sense as they attempt to win a spot on the “Idol” tour.

Based on the original concept by Todd Ellis and directed by Daniel Tursi, Idol: The Musical has music and lyrics by Jon Balcourt with book and lyrics by Bill Boland. The choreography is by Joe Walker and Jason Bumpus.
