Staged on an elemental set of earth, fire, and water, Hamlet is distilled to its core as a family tragedy, shorn of its political and psychological shadow. Heightening the tension, a silent masked chorus plays witness to the ruins of Elsinore while live, original music punctuates the misfortunes with haunting atmosphere.
