About the Show

A struggle that is greatly influencing and impacting the people of this nation today: Green Card – A New Musical is bringing a new and refreshing perspective of the trials and tribulations of immigration to its awaiting audiences. Han, a South Korean born failing artist living in Harlem is fighting for his chance at the American Dream; only he isn’t an American citizen. After meeting Mia, a spunky aspiring singer with her own skeletons to hide, they both come up with an ultimatum – the exchange of money for a fake marriage to help Han gain his citizenship. Along this crazy ride, Han and Mia are followed by Han’s South Korean girlfriend, Mia’s criminal ex-boyfriend, and the suspicious Immigration officer who refuses to leave them alone.
