Repurposing the Russian blogosphere’s sneering nickname for a perverted Europe, Gayropa centers on the effort to obtain recognition of a glittering new nation whose population will consist of all the world’s LGBT people. Yet what is intended as a way to protect those facing oppression and violence soon inspires a slew of competing visions for the country.
