About This Show

Food for Thought is a lunch hour one-act play reading series that’s drawing some of Broadway’s top talents, including Patricia Neal, Cliff Robertson, Rita Moreno, Elaine Stritch, Tammy Grimes, Kathleen Turner, and Treat Williams. Audiences enjoy a 30-minute play reading, a “gourmet box lunch” and a talk with the actors and/or playwrights.

Readings take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
from 1:00pm to 2:00pm and are accompanied by a gourmet
buffet lunch provided by the National Arts Club. Immediately following each reading, audience members are invited to participate in a question and answer session with the actors, playwright and director of the reading.
