Diplomacy: The Act of Listening Before You Speak

About the Show

In a waiting area of the World Institute for Peace, two men (played by Oscar Sanders), Skibor (Prime Minister of Politics & Implementation) and Rafusu (Minister of Arts & Culture), representatives of MuPolitica, are anxious to present the case for their poetry and music republic, for inclusion into the Alliance of Foreign Nations. They make the argument that their poetry and music has been a major factor in the national improvement of their country MuPolitica. They highlight their countries’ societal and infrastructural successes before they perform segments of the play (spoken word poetry). So, there is vacillation between these two men’s discussions of inclusion and the performance of individual poetry pieces.
