About This Show

That rambunctious gang of awesome Aussies, better known as Circus Oz, returns to the New Victory Theater (last appearances in 2004, 2000 and 1997) with an all-new show. Brashly turning circus arts on its multi-colored head, Circus Oz promises another exhilarating extravaganza flush with cheeky humor, unparalleled skill and irresistible Aussie charm. Fueled by the rock ‘n’ roll rhythms of an onstage band, a pink lemonade seller finds herself twisted in knots (literally); an accordion player in a bolero jacket thwarts off the oncoming advances of a BMX stunt biker for a bull; an orchestra’s conductor lets his flight-prone, upright bass get the best of him; and seven pole climbers race up and rocket down a 40-foot tower of terror. “Acrobatically amazing, mentally mind-blowing and extraordinarily dexterous, ditsy and adorable” (New York Post), Circus Oz offers a fast, sassy diversion to the holiday season.
