Carson McCullers (Historically Inaccurate)

Weathering a rocky marriage, pervasive small-mindedness, and unrequited love, Lula Mae Carson found success as one of the most renowned playwright-novelists of the twentieth century. Marion McClinton directs Sarah Schulman’s play, Carson McCullers, an epic investigation into one woman’s fascinating, tumultuous life. The show is a coproduction between Women’s Project and Productions and Playwrights Horizons.
