Bridezilla Strikes Back chronicles stage actress Cynthia Silver’s naive foray into the unreal world of Reality TV, as well as her struggles in navigating the mercenary New York bridal industry. In 2002, Silver allowed a British camera crew to film the preparations for her lavish wedding for what she was told would be a documentary series called “Manhattan Brides.” Silver was shocked to discover that the footage had been sold to FOX and WE and turned into a reality TV show tellingly called “Bridezillas.”
