WET presents Mia Barron, Maggie Lacey & Danielle Skraastad in the world premiere of Big Times at Walkerspace in Soho. Both a tribute to and an exploration of the beginnings of Vaudeville, this unique new play mixes sexy dames, hilarious hijinx, song, and dance with a modern theatrical kick and a whole lot of heart. It is directed by Leigh Silverman, developed and written by the three actresses, produced by Sasha Eden and Victoria Pettibone, and co-producer Marla Ratner. Sadie, Nellie and Lucy are three young ladies who show up in the Big City with nothing more than a mouse, a ukulele, and a dream of making it in the Big Time. Looking to stake out their place in the spotlight, they comically stumble into each other and discover that by joining forces, there's nothing they can't do. In true Vaudevillian style, this ragtag trio encounters more misadventures than you can shake a schtick at! The result is a magical and hilarious hybrid of a play filled with comic hijinx, bawdy babes, and old New York values. There are no performances July 1-4.
