Sponge Theatricals partners with Midtown Arts Common and York Theatre to present BARE: A POP OPERA. A special series of performances take place in the Sanctuary, with a regular run in the York Theatre at Saint Peter’s. June 6 – 16.

All profits from the production are given to Trinity Place Shelter, a transitional shelter for homeless LGBTQ youth.

BARE is set in a co-ed Roman Catholic boarding school where a storied love triangle with female classmate, Ivy, complicates Peter and Jason’s closeted relationship. Jason spirals as he faces rejection from parents, classmates, teachers and priest.
