Masters of Caribbean Music

Following the success of last season’s Caribbean Callaloo, Brooklyn Center presents Masters of Caribbean Music, an exciting tribute to three distinct musical traditions: Puerto Rican jíbaro, Trinidadian calypso and Haitian twoubadou. This performance features The Mighty Sparrow (Trinidad’s Calypso King), the exquisite jíbaro ensemble Ecos de Borinquén and the U.S. debut of the rarely heard Haitian group Ti-Coca et Wanga-Nègès.
