Lorinda Lisitza: Songs in the Style of Weill

Conceived and created by Lorinda Lisitza and Hal Simons, this celebration of song features the music of Kurt Weill. While the through-line of the show focuses on Weill, it also showcases songs written for Weills’ wife, Lotte Lenya, by Marc Blitzstein and John Kander and Fred Ebb. Other featured composers include: Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Randy Newman and Joni Mitchell, each represented with songs reminiscent of “the style of Weill.”

There is an additional performance on Tuesday, April 2 at 7:00pm.
