Lisa Asher

The incomparable Lisa Asher returns to the Duplex stage for her third consecutive Valentine’s Day performance. Since 2003, Lisa’s V-Day performances have become New York tradition. With her bluesy belt and spot on comedic timing, coupled with her first rate musicians, Lisa will offer a special Valentine Day’s treat not to be missed.

Ms. Asher’s songlist comprises songs by composers as diverse as Janis Ian, Emmylou Harris, Bob Dylan, Michael Smith, Craig Carnelia, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Joni Mitchell, and Dusty Springfield. Jeff Waxman serves as Musical Director, with Marco Brehm on bass and Bob Green on fiddle, mandolin and guitar.
