About This Show

In a time when celebration is most needed, Hedda Lettuce comes to the plate and delivers a bevy of delicious holiday goodies. Lettuce Rejoice 2006: Recalled for Christmas features a festive mix of holiday standards with Hedda’s demented spin plus twisted Christmas tales that can warm even the most jaded heart. Be prepared for songs like “Frosty the Snowman” (about a gay snowman who comes to life and shows the queens a thing or two about partying), “Walking in a Chelsea Wonderland,” “Hedda The Big-Boned Drag Queen” (about drag queen peer pressure), and the climactic “The Night Before Christmas” (about a drunken drag queen who slips in from the fire escape and robs people of their holiday booty). With pianist Paul Leshen.
