Ladies Day Jazz Quartet

The Ladies Day Jazz Ensemble celebrates the compositions of classic and contemporary jazz women. Founded by vocalist MJ Territo, the group is dedicated to discovering and performing the largely unsung but invaluable contributions of women to the jazz repertoire. Ladies Day offers swinging, elegant, and witty interpretations of tunes by jazz greats such as Mary Lou Williams, Peggy Lee, Blossom Dearie, and Marian McPartland; showcases the work of contemporary composers and lyricists such as Meredith D’Ambrosio and Lorraine Feather; and plays compositions and collaborations by its own members. Fast-paced, fun, and illuminating, Ladies Day performances never fail to open ears, eyes, and hearts.
