About This Show

Tony award-winning Reuben Santiago-Hudson portrays more than twenty roles in his tribute to the woman who raised him, Lackawanna Blues. Santiago-Hudson grew up in a boarding house owned by Miss Rachel Crosby – or “Nanny” – along with a host of colorful, larger-than-life characters who together formed a new kind of family under her roof. Masterful blues guitarist Bill Simms, Jr. provides live musical accompaniment.
