Kate Chaston: Extended Play (the Release Celebration)

Local singer/songwriter Kate Chaston will perform at NY’s fabled Metropolitan Room, to celebrate the release of her IndieGoGo-funded EP (produced by Gregg Allman’s music director/lead guitarist Scott Sharrard.) The band: a world-class group of musicians, featuring Danton Boller on bass, Ben Stivers on piano, Al Street on guitar, and Brian Wolfe on drums. The vibe: Celebratory and intimate. Kate’s sultry stylings make for an engaging evening of storytelling through song, highlighting the tunes on the EP, new originals, and jazz standards.
