World-famous jazz innovator Jon Hendricks, known as the “Poet Laureate of Jazz,” brings his Grammy Award-winning vocal talents to Queens. As founder and creator of the legendary jazz group Lambert, Hendricks and Ross, Jon Hendricks pioneered “vocalese,” a technique of setting lyrics to an existing jazz piece or improvised solo. Bar is open during the performance and seating is cabaret-style!
