Lisa is a playwright and actor whose most recent play, Well, premiered on Broadway in 2006 after an acclaimed run at the Public Theater where it was widely considered one of the year’s best plays. Lisa’s performance in Well earned her a Tony nomination for Best Actress. She is also a proud founding member of the Obie and Bessie Award winning theater company, the Five Lesbian Brothers.

Jonah Bokaer: False Start

A new choreography by Jonah Bokaer, False Start is a technology-influenced solo piece that has been animated, choreographed, and performed by Bokaer through the use of digital choreographic software. Based in Bushwick, Brooklyn, Bokaer has been presented widely throughout venues in the United States and abroad, including Dance Theatre Workshop, Danspace Project/St. Mark’s Church, Dixon Place, La Mama ETC, P.S. 122, and Symphony Space.
