Gimme a Break!

Each year, Transport Group’s annual gala Gimme a Break! honors influential members of the theatrical community who have made remarkable contributions to the American theatre. Past honorees that have been presented with the Transporting American Theatre Award include Terrence McNally, Joe Mantello, Sue Frost, Paul Huntley, Liz Smith, Christian Borle, Beth Williams, Barbara Whitman, and more. Performances include Broadway’s brighest stars sharing their “big break” moment in story and song.
