Falsettoland

Falsettoland is the groundbreaking third installment in a series of chamber musicals that chronicles the life and love adventures of Marvin. Set in the early 80s in the midst of the AIDS crisis, Falsettoland humorously and poignantly touches upon the complicated lives of its character as they cope with old and new relationships and confront an unknown disease. Falsettoland won the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Musical and the Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Musical. William Finn won Drama Desk Awards for both Best Music and Best Lyrics.

Scheduled to appear: Jill Abramovitz (Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me), Zachary Allen (A Christmas Carol), Keith Gerchak (Windy City), Colin Hanlon (I Love You Because), Lisa Howard (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Michael Hunsaker (Listen to My Heart: The Songs of David Friedman), Leisa Mather (Forbidden Broadway).

Miracle House presents Falsettoland to acknowledge the 25th anniversary of the AIDS epidemic and also in honor of their history of serving caregivers of people living with HIV/AIDS. Miracle House is New York City’s only hospitality house providing housing, meals, and advocacy to caregivers and patients who come to New York City for critical medical treatment. All proceeds from the evening’s performance will go to support these efforts.

A pre-show VIP cocktail party is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM. The performance will begin at 8pm.
