Dionne Warwick has been a fixture on the musical landscape for 45 years; to celebrate, the singer has released a new album of duets, My Friends & Me. My Friends, which is Warwick's first album for her new label, Concord, features duets with an array of female artists including Gladys Knight, Olivia Newton John, Cyndi Lauper, Gloria Estefan, and Reba McEntire. In addition, nine of Warwick's early albums are being reissued, some on CD for the first time. The portion of Warwick's catalog due for reissue May 15 on the Collector's Choice label includes nine of her first ten albums, and features a bevy of classic collaborations with composer Burt Bacharach including hits like "Don't Make Me Over," "Wishin' And Hopin'," "Anyone Who Had a Heart," "Walk On By," "Close To You," "Alfie," and "What The World Needs Now."
