Considered an “actress who sings,” Devlin has been acting and singing for as long as she can remember! A California native, she is realizing her dream of having her own cabaret show in New York City, where she performs arrangements by Rick Jensen and Tex Arnold, singing jazz, blues and torch songs.
In addition to her extensive experience in San Diego, Devlin has appeared 3 times at Jim Caruso’s Cast Party. Last summer, she was accepted to the Cabaret Conference at Yale University where she met and worked with her director, Lina Koutrakos (MAC Award-winner and France’s prestigious Petite Piaf Award recipient), and director Rick Jensen (MAC and Backstage Bistro Award winner). Devlin is the recipient of the San Diego Playbill.com award for Best Actress for her work as Frankie in Frankie and Johnny in the Claire de Lune. She has studied at the Old Globe Theater and with legendary Michael Shurtleff in Los Angeles. She has also produced, written and performed two one-woman shows, most notably the biographic Parianos Drive, and has starred in Torchin’ the Blues, a full length solo concert.
