The evening includes a screening of the classic 1915 silent film by Cecil B. DeMille, a dramatic reading from Mérimée's novella and a live performance of favorite arias and duets from Bizet's operatic masterpiece by mezzo-soprano Marie Lenormand, tenor Adam Klein, and baritone Philip Cutlip. The evening also features original flamenco dance choreographed and performed by Sara Erde to accompaniment by guitarist Raphael Brunn and vocalist Alfonso Cid.
