In a new adaptation written and directed by Venezuelan multimedia artist Juan Souki, Columbia Stages presents the world premiere of Crime and Punishment, based on the work of Fyodor Dostoevsky.
Originally published in 1866 and considered to be one of the most important and influential works in the history of literature, Crime and Punishment tells the story of Rodion Romanivich Raskolnikov, an impoverished former student who murders an old woman to escape his wretched situation. The play is performed by three actors.
