About This Show

After a few years of absence from the stage, jazz songstress/writer Christine Capdeville is back with more sensibility, sensuality and with a ton of new original songs! Her music is a reflection of her various influences, from Ella Fitzgerald and Tom Jobim to Afro-Cuban Jazz and music from her native country, France. Christine’s repertoire includes songs from The Great American Songbook, which she spices up with Bossa Nova, Samba Jazz, songs from French composers Charles Aznavour and Claude Nougaro, as well as original songs.

Christine Capdeville is a rare performer who focuses on communication with her audience. She says: “To me performing is not a celebration of the ego, a demonstration of skills…it is about creating moments that are touching and inspiring for every single person in the room. This is what I am always looking to accomplish with every single performance. It is after all what Jazz is all about: the thrill of improvisation, not knowing what’s going to come out from one second to the next!” In that respect, Christine likes to give much room to her band, integrating each musician as part of her music.

This performance is a great opportunity to hear Christine’s latest songs from her next album project, not yet recorded!

Appropriate for all ages.

There is a two (2) drink minimum per person.
