Charles Baran – currently seen as Melvin Xaxa in the hit web series The Demo Guy – returns to The Metropolitan Room with The Dill Pickle Orchestra to cook up a smorgasbord of music and comedy and all around craziness. Stories of growing up gay in Queens in the 70’s with a mom and dad right out of Archie Bunker land, dating “older men” and helping his friend Joan Rivers learn her lines for Broadway Bound. Music ranging from The Cranberries to Betty Hutton and Jacques Brel with a bit of Vampire Weekend tossed in the mix. Anything might happen so don’t miss the fun.
