The Apple Tree

Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth stars in the Roundabout’s revival of The Apple Tree, featuring music by Jerry Bock, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, and a book by Sheldon Harnick and Jerry Bock with additional book material by Jerome Coopersmith. Gary Griffin directs. The production features choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision by
Rob Fisher.

From the songwriting team of She Loves Me and Fiddler On The Roof comes a unique evening of three one-act musicals about men, women and a little thing called temptation. The Apple Tree is based on “The Diary of Adam and Eve” by Mark Twain; “The Lady or the Tiger?” by Frank R. Stockton; and “Passionella” by Jules Feiffer, with additional book material by Jerome Coopersmith.

This production is based on the acclaimed 2005 New York City Center Encores! revival of The Apple Tree staring Kristin Chenoweth and directed by Gary Griffin.
