Breathe, Songs of Holding On and Letting Go

Bistro and MAC Hanson Award winning vocalist, Lucille Carr-Kaffashan, is thrilled to be returning to Don’t Tell Mama this spring with a brand-new show. “Breathe, Songs of Holding on and Letting Go” is a musical exploration of how we navigate a fundamental human experience — the process of holding on and letting go in all its various iterations. We hold on to and let go of relationships, hopes and beliefs, a sense of identity, and in this process, we inevitably face turning points that create the opportunity for change and growth. The diverse musical program includes selections from the Great American Songbook, from contemporary singer-songwriters, from musical theater, and from both classic and current country music stars. Lucille is a 2024 and 2026 MAC award nominee, for female vocalist in 2024 and for best Tribute Show in 2026 (Beatles tribute).
