About This Show

One of the theatre’s most talented singing actresses Barbara Walsh performs a concert as part of Transport Group’s Dark Night Series. Ms. Walsh will take the audience on a thrilling ride exploring the words and music of composers and lyricists ranging from Joni Mitchell to Jacques Brel and everything in between.

Barbara Walsh received a Tony Award nomination, a Drama Desk Award nomination, and the Los Angeles Ovation Award for her performance as Trina in William Finn and James Lapine’s Tony Award-winning musical Falsettos. Her other Broadway credits include originating the roles of Mrs. Baskin in Big, Mrs. Lyons in Blood Brothers, Joan Baez in Rock ‘n Roll: the first 5,000 years, and Nine. In 1999, Ms. Walsh played Mother in the Tony Award-winning musical Ragtime (Chicago company).
