Armitage Gone! Dance

Dubbed the “punk ballerina” by Vanity Fair, Karole Armitage has worked and/or collaborated with a range of artists such as Brice Marden, David Salle, Jeff Koons, Rudolph Nureyev and Mikhail Baryshnikov, Madonna and Michael Jackson. Her choreography has been seen in films by James Ivory and Philip Haas. This Armitage Gone! Dance season at The Joyce features a world premiere with music by and designs by David Salle.
