If you are easily offended, or looking for a night of wholesome, clean entertainment . . . stay as far away from this show as possible! But if XXX rated comedy is more your speed, or if you are a fan of ‘Cringe Humor’, or Howard Stern, or the Opie and Anthony show, you will love this evening featuring the legendary Otto and George, the funniest and filthiest ventriloquist team in the world!
America got to see OTTO AND GEORGE on Late Show w/ David Letterman during Ventriloquist Week, but most of their fans know them from their frequent appearances on the Howard Stern Show, and the Opie and Anthony Radio Show.
OTTO AND GEORGE have also become well known for their stints as hosts of the American Adult Film Awards (aka “the Porno Awards”), also Penn and Teller’s Bull$h**, and for bringing comedy to stadiums full of screaming fans on the Opie and Anthony Traveling Virus Tour.
OTTO AND GEORGE have appeared in movies like “The Aristocrats”, “Comedy’s Dirtiest Dozen” with Bill Hicks, Chris Rock, and Tim Allen, plus the cult classic “American Dummy” that featured porn legend Nina Hartley.
Otto (aka Otto Peterson, the human half of the team) grew up on Staten Island, New York City, which is also the location of NYC’s Van Kills Landfill Dump. Otto started his ventriloquist act at an early age, but things took off when he teamed up with George (the dummy half of the team), who he found in a shop in Times Square. Since then, OTTO AND GEORGE have played clubs all over the country, and radio and tv appearances.
Also on the show will be Russ Meneve, who has appeared on Tonight Show / Jay Leno, Late Night w/ Conan O’Brien, Last Call w/ Carson Daly, and Comedy Central show Shorties Watchin’ Shorties. Cringe Humor says Russ Meneve has a “very twisted outlook on life, whether it’s talking about sex with a one armed girl, blaming the Wright Bros for 9/11, or how he loves chicks with scoliosis, Russ is very Cringe.”
Rich “Steam Roller” Carucci and Bill Michaels will also be on this show. There is a “two beverage minimum” policy at Stand~UP NY, in addition to needing to purchase a ticket (cover charge).
