Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland

The Joyce Theater Foundation is proud to present The National Ballet of Canada’s production of Christopher Wheeldon’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and to bring this astonishing piece to New York for the first time. Combining a “scenic spectacle of unprecedented extravagance” with “the extraordinary skill, versatility and spirit of the Canadian dancers” (Los Angeles Times), Wheeldon’s interpretation of Lewis Carroll’s immortal story is a true fantasia of dance, with startling sets and costumes by Tony Award winner Bob Crowley and live musicians performing a sublime score by British composer Joby Talbot.
