15 Minutes of Frame – A Playwrighters’ Competition

Help us select the winning play! Our playwrights, actors, and directors will be presenting the very best of over 500 plays — and the winner will be decided by you, the audience. The winning production will have the opportunity to develop their 15-minute short play into a full production, to be presented by Lucky’s Lighting Inc. and Gail Thacker at the Gene Frankel Theatre. The winner will be announced following our final performance on Saturday night, August 23rd, followed by a musical guest and celebration. These festivals are presented in honor of Gene Frankel’s Summer Festival in August at The Gene Frankel Theatre & Film Workshop, and Gail Thacker’s Shotgun Theatre Festival at the Gene Frankel Theatre — where the tradition began!
