Those familiar with Lewis Carroll’s colorful characters will enjoy the creative way Christopher Wheeldon portrays them in dance. This production is full of Wonderland’s classic quirky characters: a twitchy White Rabbit, a tap dancing Mad Hatter, a sinuous caterpillar, and so many more. Alice and the Knave of Hearts, deftly danced by two Royal Ballet principal dancers, are at the center of the story, joined by the witty and hilarious Queen of Hearts.
A unique interpretation, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is a brilliantly imagined show with a magical score, inventive designs, and a wealth of theatrical effects that tell the story of Alice’s adventures after her fall down the rabbit hole. Cast to be announced in March 2013.
