The Cripple of Inishmaan

Set on a remote island off the west coast of Ireland in 1934, Martin McDonagh’s darkly comic tale is written in the great tradition of Irish storytelling. When the town of Inishmaan hears that a Hollywood producer is making a film on a neighboring island, Cripple Billy decides to seek his fortune, and all the town’s diverse and eccentric citizens watch ravenously to see what happens.
