$30.00 general public; $26.00 senior; $26.00 Morris Museum member
Based on part of Neil Simon’s own life, this comedy features George Schneider, a writer who returns to a lonely apartment after his wife has recently died. His younger brother Leo, a theatrical press agent and born matchmaker, tries to snap George out of his emotional tailspin by supplying him with unwanted and unsuccessful dates. Leo comes up with Jennie Malone, a recently divorced actress. Jennie turns out to be a winner, although a rocky road is ahead for the not so young lovers. While they struggle to embrace the present and forget the past, Leo has a fling with Faye, Jennie’s ditzy, neurotic and married friend. Both couples mix laughter with heartache as they each pursue their own brand of romance. Ted Sod directs.
