The Last Five Years

Critics hail Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown as the future of American musical theatre, and he’s in fine form with this bittersweet take on love’s ups and downs. Is it hello or goodbye? End or beginning? Cathy Hiatt and Jamie Wellerstein, two young artists seeking fame and true love, tell their versions of the classic boy-meets-girl tale, from enchantment to disappointment and back again. The production features Brandon & Kelly Albright. Terrence R. Williams directs, with vocal direction by Daniel Bernbach and music direction by Cynthia Harris.
