The Devil, the Damsel, and Demon Rum

The Asylum Theatre presents The Devil, the Damsel, and Demon Rum, a new musical comedy in the style of old melodrama. Featuring words by Raymond Hull, and music by Mike Corda, the show is arranged by Michael Canales and directed by Sarah O’Connell.

Mrs. Wilson and her daughter Mary must pay the rent…but they can’t pay the rent! Will Mary trade her innocence for a home? Will the dashing young Edward lose everything to the demon rum? Or will the evil lawyer Cribbs’ plot be foiled again by true love? Come cheer the heros and jeer the villains in this original adaptation of W.H Smith’s famous play, The Drunkard.
