Leading Ladies

Leading Ladies, the newest script by Ken Ludwig, the author of Lend Me a Tenor, is a cross-dressing comedy a la Some Like It Hot and Charley’s Aunt. Leo and Jack, two traveling down-on-their-luck Shakespearean actors, concoct a plot to inherit one million dollars each by pretending to be the long-lost nieces of Florence a wealthy, dying woman. What they didn’t plan on was the presence of Florence’s other beautiful and alluring niece Meg.
