About the Instructor:
Local multi-hyphenate Michael Halloran (he/she/they) is an experienced actor, director, singer, and pianist originally hailing from the midwest. Michael received a BA in Theatre Arts from the University of Minnesota and a MA in Directing and Theatre Education from the University of New Mexico. As a performer, Michael has appeared all over the state of Vermont in such roles as Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest, Charlie Brown in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and Uncle Fester in The Addams Family; previous directing projects include The Mikado, Our Town, Kimberly Akimbo, and The Glass Menagerie. In addition, Michael has taught at Monteverdi Music School, Johnson State College (VSU), and currently works as a private vocal coach in Barre, mentoring singers of all ages and experience levels.
