The Snow Queen

Hans Christian Andersen’s Classic, The Snow Queen, comes to musical life!

This holiday season, join The Rep’s Imaginary Theatre Company (ITC), a professional touring ensemble for young audiences, for a heartwarming new musical twist on a classic childhood tale, adapted by Kim Esop Wylie from the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen, with music by Joe Dreyer and lyrics by Kim Esop Wylie and Joe Dreyer.

Kade and Gerda are as good friends as friends could be. The little boy and girl live next to each other in the bustling town and enjoy playing together whenever they can. But after the Snow Queen comes to town and spirits Kade away, Gerda vows not to rest until she has rescued her friend, enduring many hardships and thrilling adventures to banish winter and defeat the queen. The Snow Queen is a charming musical affirmation of the power and value of friendship.

All performances on Saturday, December 20 and Monday, December 22
