La Cage Aux Folles

The inaugral production of The Gateway Theater Company is this ever-spectacular and ever-fabulous show with music by Jerry Herman and book by Harvey Fierstein. Based on the original French movie of the same name, the musical tells the story of a gay man, his drag-performer lover, their soon-to-be-married son, the uptight in-laws and their nightclub. It includes big showstopping numbers like “La Cage Aux Folles” and “The Best of Times,” as well as touching love songs like “Song on the Sand” and “Look Over There.”
