On a scale of 1 to 10, Adam is about a 4, and he?s okay with that. An average student at an average Midwestern college. Maybe a little chunky, but who isn?t? A little nerdy perhaps, but glasses are expensive and masking tape is cheap! Hey, don?t knock the corduroy jacket; it gets laundered (occasionally). His is a good life — safe, routine, middle-of-the-road — until Evelyn, an aggressive MFA student, walks into it. Faster than you can say ?Henry Higgins,? Adam is transformed into a 10.
