About the Show

Adapted from Franz Kafka’s 1925 novel, The Trial, by Milwaukee Theater X’s playwright John Schneider and directed by Rob Goodman of Milwaukee’s First Stage Children’s Theatre, this is the tale of a bank clerk who gets lost in an incomprehensible, impenetrable bureaucracy. The Milwaukee Puppet and Mask Theatre performs this story with stunning life-sized puppets created by Max Samson with set design by Illusion Artistic Associate Dean Holzman. Music for the production was written and will be performed live by the Minneapolis band, Thunder in the Valley
