It’s a fairytale, but not one you’ve ever read before. It takes place in the days when wishing was still of some use, and also right now. A lot of stuff happens, like growing up, as in Out of the Pan Into the Fire. It’s pretty funny, a little naïve, and then it gets scary, a bit grotesque, Grimm, you might say, and kind of brutal, painful, like it makes your heart hurt a little.
