About the Show

Fran Lebowitz, the irascible New York author and cultural satirist, will speak her mind as part of Hennepin Theatre Trust’s Living Legends series. With her acid wit and unapologetic commentary, she has been called the modern-day heir to Dorothy Parker. Her three-decade career encompasses books, speaking engagements and a recurring TV role as a judge on "Law and Order." A documentary film, "Public Speaking," about Lebowitz and directed by Martin Scorcese premiered on HBO in November 2010. She will also take questions from the audience and participate in a book signing.
